I saw one of these yesterday, I believe in the obnoxious “solar beam” color.

Ew, I hate that screaming in your face yellow. The other Skittles colors of the final ‘old’ G aren’t much better though imo.

There was one of these parked at UofT when I was there, which had multiple parking tickets. I think campus police or Toronto police couldn’t figure out how to tow it, haha. The owner (a student) moved it around the corner after a week or so.

Lol, the G 4x4^2 is probably the most not suitable for towing civilian vehicle you can buy. Just imagine a prof owned it.

Yeah, I think the later run G can be had in a few dozen colors. Of course, most will be black, white, grey, or silver, at least here. But someone who might not have enough sense to keep their neck out of a guillotine now and then thinks it is a good idea to spec a yellow one.
I see “diamond silver” (a blue tint) is available on later models, that’d be my choice.

Maybe I’m an old man trapped in a young body but a bright red or lime green G is absolutely tasteless.
I second your color choice.

That little drop bumper makes me giggle.

Haha yeah, I bet it’s even too tall to put on a flatbed xD
That would be one cool prof. However, I’m sure it was one of the Chinese students, the wealth of some of them is unfathomable, so there are all kinds of luxury cars and sports cars driving around campus.

A modern G is so extravagant as a vehicle in and of itself, that it needs to be somewhat subtle in terms of colors to have any dignity. I am an old man in a young(ish) body too - I bought the fintail when I was 18, hae a diesel W212 as my DD, and generally like the older cars.
